They have a lot of songs that are from the 60s and early 70s, these kinda show when things should be sad or creepy or happy and so forth also they brings comedic affect when something bad is happening to them and some of the happier music gets put on

The main characters have kinda like a rag tag look, making them sorta outlaws not following the law.

It is to make sudden changes between things like happiness or scariness and simlar things. Also a lot of the soundtrack is actual songs.
