Evidence of Team Planning and Decisions

PRODUCTION – ACTION

The (FILM, SOUND, or GAME Creation)

Itch

This is the most recent version of our game, it also includes a credit page with what everyone on the team did

POST-PRODUCTION – REFLECTION

21st Century Skills

Ways of Thinking (Creativity, Innovation, Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving)

There were a lot of bugs revolving around the UI which is something I had never done. So I had to figure out what was wrong and used problem-solving and Critical Thinking.

Ways of Working (Communication & Collaboration)

Aiden and I communicated a lot about where we were in the game. Hunter and I also communicated what I needed art-wise regarding the menu and UI.

Tools for Working (Info & Media Literacy)

I learned how to use UI for Unity which is something I had never done before. I am now fairly proficient in it and can make a UI/Menu system without a Tutorial

Ways of Living in the World (Life & Career)

I used Unity and GarageBand and tried new things for both. And got better at both. Both programs are professional-level programs or at least good practice for more professional programs. In GarageBand, I experimented with Synthesizers.

Reactions to the Final Version

“Soundtrack was good, there but not overbearing” – Hunter

“Menu System was good” – Hunter

Self-Evaluation of Final Version

Well, we don’t really have a game, but I’m proud of the UI that I made, I wish to work on it later so that we can actually get the auto battler done.

Sleep is your Superpower

CueNotes
why does it affect testicles?

Why do we still have daylight savings?????
sleep hits the save button on memories,
also need sleep before learning
maybe the difference between acing a test and failing
lots of healthy learning activity
Try getting enough sleep
spindles are a file transfer
short term to long-term transfer
deep sleep is important to not dying
ok here is the thing daylight savings is just bad

huge deficiency when 4 hours
sleep makes you live longer

Summary

I understand sleep is important, like super important, and I need more. Yeah, that’s about it. I should probably have a sleep schedule and not go to bed when I’m tired. And only get 6:45 of sleep

Learn Better Practicing Techniques from Dr. Molly Gebrian

Cue
Notes
why is it not good to practice for a long time

why does spaced practicing actually work

what’s going on inside the brain
Take lots of breaks
don’t do everything all at once
people do better when they have breaks
spaced practicing transfer better to other situations

weird neuron stuff,
learning equals changes at the synapse
long-term potentiation
when you give another stimulation, don’t another long-term potentiation, so it doesn’t make you learn better, but if you wait for an hour, then a lot more get long-term potentiation. Wait for at least an hour between each practice thing

The brain is constructing, so make sure that you take a break.
Taking breaks over the course of days is great
to take breaks over a long period of time
expanding schedule
do it every day, then take a whole day off, then 2, and then 3.
more complex, more time between sessions.
