You rarely find someone as dedicated and self-directed as Aiden. Aiden and I were students in a Game Design class at Capital High School in Olympia Washington. When we were learning how to code in Unity, even during the hardest of projects, Aiden figured out how to do it. Apart from being an exceptionally hard worker, Aiden is a joy to be around and a super funny guy without getting in the way of work. Aiden in any group situation would be a solid choice, he is a hard-working self director/learner, that will always get what you need done

6/14	I put my LinkedIn and Recommendation through Grammarly to make sure there are no mistakes. I also wrote my five sentences on the half sheet and turned that in. After I was done I continued with my last weeks Goal of working on making my previous songs more in depth. I also played through pneuma since it was a long period.	1 hr 45 min	This is a best practice because I am furthering my resume and proffesionalism.
6/15	I warmed up with a play through of pneuma. And then worked on a song where I decided that I wanted to finger pick the riff/chords. I also added a cool drone note to the riff which sounds cool.	1 hr	This is a best practice because I am learning a new or at least getting better at a new guitar skill
6/16	I finished this my blog. And practiced with pneuma as well as tried to perfect the riff I worked on yesterday. It was a difficult riff to play right so I wanted to make it sound good.	1 hr	This is a best practice because I am learning how to get better at and perfect something through practice.

What is/was your overall goal for this week?	My Goal was to help prepare School of Rock for next year, and also finish the instrumental part of our song we are working on, so we can pass it on to Kaitlyn.

6/13	Simon was here now so we worked on our song, it had been a bit since we last worked on it so we forgot a little what we had came up with. So we had to relearn	1 hr	This is a best practice because we are preparing for getting the song ready for Kaitlyn as well as it required communication to relearn what we had already written
6/14	We helped Simon with his LinkedIn stuff, and then went to the green room and worked on our song. We really focused on transition and buildups to other sections and how that was going to work.	45 min	This is a best practice because it required collaboration to both get Simon’s LinkedIn done, and also to work on our song.
6/15	Simon had to leave a bit early so we didn’t have as much time as normal to work on the song. We mostly focused again on transitions and buildups. We didn’t really get it down last time	1 hr	This is a best practice because while working in a band situation communication and collaboration are important and necessary.
6/16	We continued working on our song. We have everything finished in terms of structure. But now we are ironing everything out so that we	1 hr	This is a best practice because we communicated and collaborated.

6/6	Made this blog post, talked to Mr. Leduc about next year, and then worked on the song in 7/4 mainly focusing on writing a chorus riff that was also in 7/4	1 hr	This was a best practice because we discussed the future of this class, which I will be in next year (at least in school of rock) and I also bettered myself as a guitarist really working on being able to count and write something in 7/4 easily.
6/7	I had some inspiration for the song Im working on in School of Rock so I decided to record and get out some of my ideas so I would remember them	1 hr	This was a best practice because I was using recording to get things out of my head and into a physical/ digital environment which is the best way to remember creative things.
6/8	I was having trouble coming up with new ideas either to add to a song or create a new one, so after doing a bit of mixing of the 7/4 song I played through schism and pneuma by tool. Now I know pretty much how to play pneuma and schism, although in pneuma theres one part where the guitar and bass are doing completely different things and it’s hard to time it.	1 hr	Im not sure if this was a best practice, I was off task from my goal, but I was also getting better at guitar, but I leave it up to you.
6/9	I decided to work on the solo for the song in School of Rock. I found a really cool effect, and so I was messing around with what I could do with that	1 hr	This is a best practice because I was practicing soloing and getting better at improvising,

6/6	We played through and worked on the bridge for our song, as well as just get more reps through our song so Simon can get a bit more of a idea of what he is doing	1 hr	This is a best practice because we communicated and used creativity to work and hammer out more parts of the song.
6/7	We made a rough recording of the song, and finished the spacey bit/bridge/solo so Simon knows that we are doing	1 hr	This is a best practice because we communicated and played through the song, and so had to use our creativity to add on to the song.
6/8	Since Simon wasn’t here and also the last day for seniors, we decided to have a goof day and play through random things we had already came up with, we played through spaghetti song which is a bit of a meme song. Ben Anderson also stopped in for a little bit to play drums. We didn’t get a lot done but we couldn’t really work on our song, since most of the things we need to work on have to do with drums.	1 hr	I don’t think this is a best practice, we got very little done and it was really just a joke day in terms of what we did.
6/9	Simon and Griffin weren’t here for different reasons, so we finished this blog post and then decided to help Mr. Leduc with preparing for next year.	1 hr	this was a best practice because we were helping prepare for next year so that we could make the future as best as possible.
